Saro Scalia
Contemporary photographer, born in 1969, born in Catania, was born of his art from photo processing black and white which later developed into the creation of photographic images of dreamy landscapes, away from their real context and highlighting the strong gap between aspirations and historical places heavily urbanized and degraded.
The natural landscape so present in the reality of this island, Sicily, disappears in her photographs that are a denunciation of the destruction of the landscape and wildlife.
Of graphics, art and photography continues his research work on the city of Catania, a place full of inspiration for his artistic activity.
